Manager problems

A couple of the installers know whats going on but not many.i use to work there for a while it seemed good at first then they started going through managers.the newest one has a attitude problem always seems to *** off the installers first thing in the morning lies about the employees if he dont like u so u wont get any work of your injured he sends u out anyway not caring if you are hurt so that u make it worse then eventually cant do your job.but the worst thing is that he lies and *** customers just to get through it and nothing is put on him.so of u dont want to get screwed by manager david walker at the reno office dont EVER deal with him ask for the field manager he is down to earth and honest.mr walker should not be there due to mot lnowing *** about Floor covering or installs but if you dont mind being lied to and screwed over on your hard earned money then by all means go see mr.walker.

Not good

I have worked at little rock office but if u are not a special person there u dont get any jobs that pay anything so that is why no new crews go there the person doing the job set up only gives to one crew and that is messed up everyone deserves the chance

Did not show up for the scheduled install

We received a call and email the day before confirming the install between 8-10 am. The morning of the install we get another email with the photo of the installer confirming the 8-10 time.

At 10:30 I call and was told ther is a hold up and they will now be there between 12-1pm. They never called to explain the delay had I not called I would not have know they were delayed. I then called at 1: 15 as they still had not shown up and this I've the manager had the nerve to say we never scheduled the appointment. This was after 2 emails and calls confirming the time.

They are now going to be at the home between 2-4. Let see if they show up Home needs a new contract with another installer

The very name "Romanoff" gives the potential reason for their delay. I remember reading something about troubles between the Bolsheviks and Mensheviks and probable fighting for control. Just a guess on my part, tho.

Unqualified installer

Was supposed to have carpet installed today, 5 rooms. The installer drove approx.

60 miles. He walked through the rooms then stated he couldn't remove the old carpet because of pet stains in one room. I explained that they were not pet stains, it was my workshop and various fluids had been spilled over the years. He scoffed at me, said " yeah right", and got on the phone.

I assume to his boss and asked to speak with him. He got in his van and left. After driving 60 miles to leave because one room was thought dirty [It wasn't] with 4 other rooms to do, seems not to make sense. I could remove that area in 10 minutes.

He refused to even smell the area be cause he was so sure they were pet stains, they aren't. Now they want to reschedule a month later. I'm selling the house3 and can't take pics. until the carpet is in.

Why did he just leave without talking to me or letting me speak with his boss? Now my house is all over the place and they want me to wait a month.

Doors are off, furniture is outside, place is ready and I get a man who doesn't want to work. There is plenty to do without his unfounded complaint.

I’ve just had such a similar experience as yours. Mind saying your location? All we know is our “installers” would be coming from Atlanta which is about 105 miles to have almost the same exact thing happen.

Why does Home Depot allow a company that could care less about customer service continue working for them is beyond me. I have never seen a company like Roanoff in all my years on this earth They have no seance of customer service no mater how many times you call And Home Depot Managers can not do anything to help Until Home Depot gets rid of this company I will shop a Lowes and I suggest you do the same. They use anybody that can pass a background check and the Russian installers are very rude and a female I was uncomfortable to be around them in my own home

Romanoff uses helpers instead of jourmam installers Because they don't pay the proper wages On Carpet they pay $2.20 per yard when other company's pay $4.50 per yard so u know there is no quilted installers there Also 80%of there jobs has mager issues You can call an call until you are blue in the face but it will get you nowhere they only care about how many jobs they can do and want fix any repairs This company has too many chiefs an not enough indians and the Chiefs come in with backgrounds from Sears appliances nobody has flooring experience

This company has the worst customer service. They will not return calls. There work is subpar too. They were subcontracted to install flooring and the floor boards are separating. Do no hire them to install anything. Buyer beware!!

Romanoff Renovations Residential Flooring Review from Los Angeles, California

On 19 Jul 2015 I ordered floor tiles at Home depot in Pittsburg Ca for installation. Romanoff Co was scheduled as the company from homedepot to install the tiles for 8-9 Sep. The email and phone call stated the company would be at my house between 8-10am on the 8th. At about 1030 am I called the company and the employee at the call # said they would check to see what happened and call me back.No call; an hour later I call back,an employee on the call number stated the employee didn't show up to work and they would have someone probably between 2-4 pm. About 320pm I get a phone call from Daniel from the call center at Romanoff that they would not show up today but will do the job in one day on the 9th. I told him this is unacceptable I took the day off this is the 1st phone call from the company all other calls I was calling you. And you have had my order over a month if you knew it can take only one day I wouldn't have had to waste today waiting and no one shows up. I don't know if anything can be done but this company had no sympathy that I had to take a whole day off for nothing, they offered no compensation as if it happens all the time. On 9 Sep the contractor shows up at 1130; not between 8-10am as the time was stated from the call center. At about 630pm the contractor say he doesn't have enough grout can I run over to home depot before the floor dries. I stated this should have been determined sometime ago and all of the items were ordered over a month ago.I called the manager at Home depot; drove over to the store and got the extra grout. I explained to James what was going on and he said he would call me and speak to Romanoff's manager. The contractor did not finish with the floor until after 9pm. On 10 Sep I emailed William "Chris" Edwards at the Benicia Ca office stating I would like to speak to him on the service I received to this day he has not emailed me or called me back. I left a phone message on the 10 Sep; 14 Sep; 15 Sep.I called the corporate office on 11 Sep 770-980-**** no one has called back. This company is the worst on customer service...Home depot in Pittsburg Ca is also the worst
